Thrilling FIVES

Aston will turn 5 years old in two months' time. We usually do not celebrate too elaborately for his birthdays. The only major one is when he turned one year old and the next three years are simple celebration with family members with a cake at home. You are already very happy with us surrounding you to sing the birthday song, blow candles, make birthday wish & cut the cake. Thus, we may do the same this year , so there is nothing really special. This year, we will bring you out to watch a show on "The Emperor's New clothes" on your birthday day itself. This is the second children show you watched and the recent one is "The Little Red Hen" which you enjoyed very much. I like to bring you to these shows because it provide you a different way the tales stories are being told as compared to you reading from the story books. Little Red Hen is about be helpful and Emperor's New Clothes is about honesty. You need to know these good characters in life to make you a better person and liked/received by people. You did not attend alot of enrichments because you may not have the time to attend most of them so we chose some important ones for you to promote character building, to sustain learning, to maintain right attitude in learning and to explore creativity in the enrichments you are learning now. You learn piano because you need to be focus and concentrate in learning the music notes and play the piano. You go swimming on every sat because you need some excercise to promote your health well being and improve/sustain your lifestyle. You learn phonic because you need know the way to read words in the correct way and handle independent reading when you reach primary school. You learn English speech & drama because you need to articulate well & co-ordinate movements. The next is to learn Chess because this is what we hope you can get strong in sense of responsibility , social interaction and thinking process. We know you like to learn drawing & we are still considering. We hope you will be thrilled with these activities you are engaging so far now.
